Is this the look that will land Kate Upton the coveted Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover? Model shows off her curvaceous bikini body
She's only 19-years-old but Kate Upton certainly knows who to work the catwalk.
The blonde model was seen strutting her stuff at a fashion show, in a bikini that showed off her enviable curves.
In a variety of Beach Bunny swimwear, Upton even modelled a floor-length veil to match a bridal-esque two-piece.
The Michigan-born star posed with her hands on her hips as she highlighted her bust in a black and white gingham bikini as well as blue sequinned style.
Upton wore her blonde hair down and finished her look with some bright red lipstick and matching nail varnish.
The Victoria’s Secret model - who is rumoured to be dating Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez - made her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit debut last year and is rumoured to be on the cover of this year's issue.
'All I can really say is that I’m in the issue,' Upton told Page Six.
She revealed that she will be missing the New York shows because she’ll be promoting the issue, including attending a launch party at Pure in Las Vegas next week, but finished by saying: 'Fingers crossed!'
Last year the magazine chose to use Russian lingerie model Irina Shayk - girlfriend of footballer Cristiano Ronaldo - for the cover, and judging by Upton's latest catwalk appearance, she could certainly give Shayk a run for her money.
Other cover candidates include fiancée of singer John Legend, Chrissy Teigen, and Russian model Anne V who is currently dating Maroon 5 star Adam Levine.
'There’s no clear front-runner,' a source told the New York Post.
'There’s a lot of talk about Kate in general. But the idea of American versus international has never been a part of the debate. It really comes down to the best picture wins.'
In 2011, Upton featured in the body paint section of the annual issue and was also named Rookie of the Year.
Also in the running to appear on the cover is Genevieve Morton, a South African model who debuted in the 2010 SI Swimsuit issue, and California-born Alyssa Miller who made her SI debut last year.
The cover will be unveiled on The Late Show with David Letterman on February 13.
